Limited Power Distribution Switches
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
FEATURES
The SGM2551A and SGM2551C are single channel
power distribution switches. The switch operates from a
wide range of 2.5V to 5.5V supply voltage, and is
controlled by the EN pin.
● Input Voltage Range: 2.5V to 5.5V
● On-Resistance: 90mΩ (TYP)
● Continuous Current: 1.5A (MAX)
● Programmable Current Limit: 100mA to 1.7A
● Fast Over-Current Response: 2μs
● Protection Features
A 90mΩ low RON N-MOSFET is integrated. It is capable
of supplying up to 1.5A continuous current. The small
size and quiescent current make the device very suitable
for space limited, battery-powered applications.

device provides
a
programmable current limit threshold between 100mA
and 1.7A through the RILIM. The internal reverse-voltage
function will protect devices on the input side of the
switch. The SGM2551C has quick output discharge
function in disable status.
APPLICATIONS
SGM2551A and SGM2551C are available in the Green
TDFN-2×2-6L and SOT-23-5 packages. They are rated
over the -40℃ to +85℃ temperature range.
