Field Installable Optical Connectors

The field installable optical connectors are designed to be easily installed in the
Outline
field.
The mechanical splice technology allows you to attach connectors with pre-
polished endfaces to optical cables quickly and easily.
Field installable connectors are available in various types: SC and MT-RJ
connectors.

Open the mechanical splice
Remove the wedge and the connector
from the assembly tool.
Assemble the rubber boot.

0.25mm-diameter fiber by adding optional tools.
FI-KITMTRJ-A : A tool kit for field installable MT-RJ connectors of fiber type. Can also be used to work on cord type connectors by adding optional tools.
FI-SKITSC-C : This is a simplified version of assembly tool kits. A standard kit is made up of tools for SC connectors, and can also be used in installing MT-RJ
connectors by adding optional tools (FI-OPKITMTRJ).
