Family
Description
The SBC2A is a 2-amp, low-cost, non-isolated DC-DC converter. The
SIP form factor and high power density minimize the board area
required for power. It uses an industry-standard pin-out, but also has
a much lower height of only 0.48 inches.

-40 °C Operation
Output Decoupling
Although not specifically required for proper/specified operation of the SBC2A, external decoupling capacitors may be
employed to reduce noise and interaction with adjacent circuits. Output decoupling can be achieved by placing 0.1/µf
ceramic caps at the load.
Input Decoupling
Local input decoupling is recommended to reduce the apparent source impedance to SBC2A module.

Fault Protection
The SBC2A module does not provide short-circuit protection. To assure safety, place a fuse on the input line.
